It started in 2014
We met when we both worked at EA, Redwood Shores, in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2014. Tyler left EA to join another company, and we started dating soon after that.
Cross-country, no, cross-continental, yes.
Tyler pursued his career in many different places, including Frankfurt, Germany; Montreal, Canada; and Santa Monica, while Yusun stayed in the same place. There were a lot of international flights, and every visit was a treasure. We explored every new place together!
Pandemic brought us together.
When work from home started, we were finally able to set up our workstations in the same place, together in the same city after so many years. We always knew it would work out, and it truly did. Being confined to a small space together 24/7—something that could be a challenge for some people—was a blessing for us. Everything just fell into place.
We are in Santa Monica Now
We decided to settle here for a while after so many travels. We are blessed with a beautiful beach, warm weather with a cool breeze, and spectacular sunsets almost every night.
