Power Outlets: South Korea uses 220V, 60Hz, with Type C and F plugs. Bring a universal adapter.
Jet Lag: Seoul is 13–16 hours ahead of U.S. time zones. Plan for rest after arrival.
Emergency: Dial 1330 for tourist information or 119 for emergencies.

Recommended Public Transportation card is TMoney. You can easily get it at the airport, or you can add it as a transit card in Apple Wallet.
Step 1: Arrival at Incheon International Airport (ICN)
Immigration: Follow signs for “Arrivals/Immigration.” Have your passport, K-ETA, and return ticket ready.
Baggage Claim: Collect your luggage and proceed through customs.
Language: Most airport staff speak English. Signs are in English and Korean.
Step 2: Choose Your Transportation to Seoul
Option 1: AREX Train + Subway
Buy a T-money Card: Purchase at convenience stores (GS25, 7-Eleven, CU) or vending machines.
Find the AREX Station: Follow signs to the Airport Railroad (AREX) in the Transportation Center (B1).
Board the AREX All-Stop Train: Take the train to Seoul Station (about 60 minutes).
Transfer to Subway Line 1: At Seoul Station, transfer to Line 1 (Blue) for one stop to Jongno 3(sam)-ga.
Transfer to Line 3: At Jongno 3(sam)-ga, transfer to Line 3 (Orange) for one stop to Anguk Station.
Walk to Bukchon: Exit Anguk Station (Exit 2) and walk north for about 5 minutes.
Payment: Use your T-money card for all train and subway rides. You can top up at any station or convenience store.
Option 2: Airport Limousine Bus
Buy a Ticket: Go to the bus ticket counter in the arrivals hall. Ask for Limousine Bus #6011 (Anguk Station/Bukchon).
Find the Bus Stop: Follow signs outside to the #6011 stop.
Ride to Anguk Station: The ride takes 70–90 minutes depending on traffic.
Walk to Bukchon: From Anguk Station, walk north for about 5 minutes.
Payment: Pay at the counter (cash or credit card) or with T-money card on the bus. Vending machine only take credit cards issued in Korea. Use counter or T-money.
Option 3: Taxi
Go to the Taxi Stand: Follow signs outside arrivals.
Choose a Taxi: Regular, deluxe, or jumbo taxis are available. Deluxe/jumbo are more expensive but larger.
Show Your Destination: Print or show “Bukchon Hanok Village” in Korean: 북촌한옥마을 (or Anguk Station: 안국역).
Ride to Bukchon: The trip takes 60–90 minutes depending on traffic.
Payment: Most taxis accept cash (KRW) and credit cards. Tipping is not required.
Step 3: Upon Arrival in Bukchon
Navigation: Use Google Maps or Naver Maps (download before arrival; Naver is more accurate in Korea).
Cash: Some small shops and restaurants in Bukchon are cash-only. ATMs are widely available.
